West Kowloon Cultural District M+ Museum
West Kowloon,
Hong Kong
Located at the centre of the West Kowloon Cultural District, M+ is the new museum for visual culture. Occupying an area of 60,000 m2, the building is comprised of a 14 storey tower, a 3 storey podium, and a 2 storey basement.
The Project
An aerial view of the M+ museum job site in the West Kowloon Cultural District shows the large scale of the project.
VST towers with non-standard configurations were designed to meet site requirements.
Telescopic base and head plate allow site tolerances to be easily achieved. All connections are pinned for fast assembly and high bending moment connection.
M+ Museum overlooks Victoria Harbour as a cultural landmark in Hong Kong.
