Tuen Mun – Chek Lap Kok link (TM-CLKL) serves to provide a direct route between the Northwest New Territories and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB), the Airport and North Lantau and also an alternative land access to the Airport.

The project TMCLKL-S involves the design and construction of a dual two-lane elevated carriageway between the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities (HKBCF) and North Lantau Highway (NLH) with associated slip roads.
